I bought the lens to take bird pictures. It is a great lens for the price.Im using a Nikon D80 with a Tamron 1.4 teleconverter. It produces clear sharp photos up to about 450mm.This is to shoot a heavy hand, I have to take a picture is sharp, you need to find using a tripod. Surprisingly, auto focus works fine with the teleconverter even on a dark cloudy day.I have not tried at night but I suspect that at night I have to focus manually. I would definitly recommend this lens..

I first came upon this camera on closeout and paid $60 for it.It is very small (about the size of an Altoid tin) but has plenty of features and is very handy to take with you.I would not recommend this camera if your only camera, unless you buy your 1st digital camera. It will not be a great camera at night.But for shots daytimes with plenty of modes to a manageable size - This camera works well..

I found this easy to use and fast.The longest part is loading/unloading the 4-slide tray, each conversion takes only a few seconds and the download a second more.Photos are downloaded to the storage chip (included) and easily upload to your computer later, the USB cable. It did lock up on me two times during a 500 slide conversion run but is easily reset by unplugging the unit and plugging in again (no data was lost).Each slide is converted to a ~ 1 meg jpg that I found quite sufficient to enlarge the photo, I can not imagine needing to 5 meg size jpg on other products. I am very happy with this purchase..

The camera is easy to use.I took it on a long trip and it became an extension of my arm, it was so intuitive.I do not like the only way to upload photos to the Kodak software is the degree depends on. It's a major undertaking to import the photos into Picassa instead of EasyShare.The 5x zoom is fantastic for such a compact camera..

I have owned lots of cameras and this is the best one so far. I had lots of super zooms and i have sell the panasonic zs1 because of the low light situation ! id did nice pictures if was not for the low light. but this camera is impressive well done beautiful pictures fast if you have children youll love. its not heavy like the say.
